Mpilonhle’ s sustainability is based on having a diverse funding base, and close integration and support from the Government, especially the Departments of Health, Education, Social Development, and Home Affairs, on the National, Provincial, and District Level.
The sustainability of the project is also enhanced by having a Board and Staff made up largely of local community members, who know the community well and can advocate for it within the community, the local municipalities, the traditional authorities, and with other donors.
Our main Community Stakeholders are;
District AIDS Councils
Operation Sukuma Sakhe
National Youth Development Agency "NYDA"
National Development Agency
South Africa Police Services "SAPS"
Civil society organizations.
For social services, including Child Protection, Mpilonhle is collaborating with:
Mqedi Community Care Centre
Thuthuzela Care Centre
Msawenkosi Childrens Home
Empangeni Child Welfare
