2011 – Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) and Mpilonhle partnership which provided mobile health clinic services to schools and communities. It also includes the donation of TOMS shoes to learners, reflecting the shared commitment to supporting youth health, education, and well-being in underserved areas.
2010 – Showcasing powerful footage of Mpilonhle Mobile Units in action, providing health and educational services in underserved communities. Scenes from the Grassroots Soccer partnership highlight the creative, youth-focused outreach efforts linked to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
2010 – Charlize Theron spoke about her Africa Outreach Project and its work with Mpilonhle as part of the Living Peace Series, alongside Mpilonhle’s Executive Director, Dr. Michael Bennish. The series features global leaders working toward a more compassionate and sustainable world.
2008 – Charlize Theron appears on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she shares her childhood story and highlights her work in KwaZulu-Natal with the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) and Mpilonhle, where she educated youth on safe sex despite cultural taboos.
