The POP INN Pride Flag Tour brought together government departments, community leaders, healthcare stakeholders, civil society organisations and LGBTQIA+ community members across uThukela, Ugu and King Cetshwayo Districts, reaffirming a shared commitment to inclusive, stigma-free and rights-based healthcare.
The tour, supported by The Aurum Institute/POP INN and Mpilonhle, created opportunities for stakeholders and communities to come together, raise awareness and strengthen collaboration around the healthcare needs and rights of LGBTQIA+ communities.
Across the three district events, the Pride Flag served as a symbol of inclusion, visibility, dignity and the importance of creating healthcare environments where everyone can access services without fear of stigma or discrimination.
